Adding some new content....poetry.

I figured why not add my posts to both blogs, that way Blogger readers could read what I post over on the other site (that shall remain nameless...:) ).

Two Years Smoke Free?
Two years on
I still dream
of filling lungs
sweet blue smoke.
Wishful images
cough and choke
are you kidding
is this a joke?
Put you down
finally for good
and here you are
haunting my sleep.
Thought I was free
of your grip on me
but I you poke and urge
to fill lungs with tobacco surge.

What a long winter this blog has had....

I feel a bit bad for not having kept up with this blog.  Part of the problem is that much of what is already on this blog is now the sole property of my ex-wife...so I didn't really have any gardens for a quite some time.

That said, having re-married and bought a new home with amazing landscaping I can get back to doing this blog. 

So, keep an eye out on this blog as I have some serious gardening and landscaping coming up....

In the meantime, check out the beautiful sulpher shelf (or more appetizingly, The Chicken of the Woods) my wife and I found on a walk the other day.

It was so soft -- must be a brand new growth.  Looking forward to it being dinner!
